New Down Syndrome Awareness Designs

I introduced 2 new Down Syndrome Awareness Designs to the store this week.

My new awareness ribbon stamp came in and you can now request it to accent your piece!

I am really excited about this piece. This piece was created with the Buddy Walk in mind. October is the month for Buddy Walks and this is a great piece to wear on the day of the walk (or any day for that matter!). Gift it to your team members, a parent or for an individual with Down Syndrome.

Fundraising Opportunities–Earn Money For Your Organization or Cause with Designs by MRS

October is the time for Down Syndrome Buddy Walks around the nation.

If you are like me, you aren’t very comfortable asking friends and family for donations.

I was trying to think of ways to help others raise money for their organization or cause and the thought to use the jewelry for fundraisers came to me!

The fundraiser is not limited to special events or groups. Whether you are an individual raising money for your Buddy Walk team, a PTA raising money for your school or a large organization raising money for your cause, you are welcome to participate!

The only requirement is that you have a legitimate cause. :)

How does it work?

You will receive a unique coupon code that you will distribute to your friends and family for use at Designs by MRS on Etsy.

Designs by MRS will donate 30% of all sales that utilized your coupon code. They will in turn receive free shipping on their order!

At the end of the fundraiser duration, your organization or cause will receive a check (or PayPal payment) in the amount of 30% of total sales (that used your unique coupon code).

What do I do to apply for a fundraiser?

Simply complete the Fundraiser Request Form and I will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Is there a cost to me (or the organization)?

Absolutely not! :) The only thing I ask for you to utilize is your time advertising your fundraiser.

What will I have to do?

Your job is easy. :) You simply send the unique coupon code to your friends and family. I can provide a template email and flyer templates to you. You can use the flyers for your Facebook profile, page or print them out and distribute them.

New Beginnings!

Welcome to Designs By MRS’ blog!
This will be the home for sharing new items, specials and other announcements.
The idea for Designs by MRS started as a way to celebrate children with Down Syndrome (and their parents). Most of the jewelry will feature Down Syndrome or my other passion, photography. There will also be customizable products as well. :)
Eventually, I also hope to have products other than jewelry (designed with Down Syndrome in mind) available for purchase.
5% of all purchases will be put aside to donate quarterly to a variety of Down Syndrome organizations. If you have an organization you would like to suggest, please feel free to message me. :)
